-Custom Blending Technique-
Using the ERASER TOOL
Here are the steps to follow to create a "Custom Blend" using the eraser tool.
1. Erase sharp edges of the photo using the eraser tool
-Use a small round brush, about a size 80-120,
-Right click and turn the "hardness" to "0"
-Opacity to "100%"
-Use the middlel of the eraser tool and center it over one of the edges of the photo, hold down your "shift" key and drag your cursor over the edge of the photo. This will get rid of the sharp edge and leave you with a soft boarder. Do this for all four sides.
2. Now we want to start roughing out the custom blend and get rid of large areas of the photo that we don't need.
-Enlarge your brush to about size 300 or so.
-Hardness at "0".
-Opacity at "100%".
3. From here we want to start creating a nice contour around the subject in our photo.
-Maintain a large brush size.
-Hardness at "0".
-Opacity at "40%"
4. We will now fine tune the rest of the blend with a low "opacity". Rememberring that we want to create a long, smooth blend from 0%-100% opacity
-Maintain a large brush size.
-Hardness at "0".
-Opacity lower than "15%"
